Objectives of the Trust

LeadershipThe JWALA FOUNDATION works through a broad set of objectives to bring meaningful change:

  • Provide financial assistance to poor and marginalized students at the elementary school level.
  • Establish, run, and develop palliative care centers and old age homes.
  • Partner with autism organizations and stakeholders to support and care for individuals with autism.
  • Organize functions to share stories of women’s strength and courage, collaborating with empowerment partners.
  • Recognize and celebrate outstanding achievements by women across different fields.
  • Conduct lectures on women’s roles in media and advocate for gender-equal coverage.
  • Engage with local communities to create lasting impact through collective responsibility for women’s rights.
  • Carry out activities incidental or ancillary to the trust’s objectives.
  • Establish counseling and guidance centres for women and promote self-employment opportunities.
  • Promote child rights and welfare through empowerment centers, vacation camps, scholarships, and free learning materials.
  • Acquire and manage properties necessary for trust activities.
  • Form and support women’s groups, youth groups, self-help groups, senior citizens’ groups, and community volunteer groups.
  • Initiate or assist social development and welfare programs to improve lives of common people.
  • Establish and manage hospitals, health centers, mobile clinics, and research centers to provide healthcare and counseling.
  • Publish books, magazines, IEC (Information, Education, Communication) materials, and other resources to generate income for sustaining trust activities.
  • Open schools for needy children and run adult education programs.
  • Work for the education, welfare, and development of women, children, and marginalized communities in both urban and rural areas.
  • Conduct information, education, communication, and training programs for different groups supported by the trust.
