  1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, you agree to support the objectives of the JWALA Foundation, which include social development, child welfare, and women’s empowerment.  

  1. Use of Content
  • The JWALA Foundation publishes books, magazines, and Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials.  
  • All content is for the benefit of the Trust’s aims; unauthorized reproduction for private profit is prohibited.  
  1. Donation and Refund Policy
  • Donations are voluntary and will be treated as the “Corpus of the Trust” or used for specific objectives such as scholarships or palliative care centers.  
  • The Trust is irrevocable. Once a donation is made, it is utilized solely for the promotion of the Trust’s set objects.  
  1. Beneficiary Eligibility
  • Benefits and services provided by the Trust are open to all individuals irrespective of caste, creed, religion, colour, race, or sex.  
  1. Limitation of Liability
  • The Board of Trustees acts in good faith pursuant to the powers conferred by the Trust Deed.  
  • The Trustees are kept fully indemnified by the Trust against any loss or liability arising from actions done in good faith for the Trust.  
  1. Governing Law
  • These terms are governed by the Indian Trust Act 1882 and the laws of India.  
  • The Registered Office is located in Trivandrum, Kerala, and activities are restricted to the territory of India.  
  1. Dissolution Clause
  • In the event of the Trust’s dissolution, remaining assets will not be distributed among members but will be transferred to another charitable trust with similar objects.  

 

 

Volunteer Code of Conduct

This code ensures that all volunteers—whether in women’s groups, youth groups, or community leadership—operate within the ethical framework of the Trust.  

  1. Commitment to Mission
  • Volunteers must act in good faith to fulfill the objectives of the JWALA Foundation, specifically focusing on social development and the upliftment of the marginalized.  
  • Participation is entirely voluntary; as per the Trust Deed, no remuneration or profit shall be paid for services rendered in this capacity.  
  1. Inclusive Conduct
  • Volunteers must treat all beneficiaries with dignity, without discrimination based on caste, creed, religion, colour, race, or sex.  
  • Special care and sensitivity must be maintained when engaging with children, the elderly, and individuals in palliative care or with autism.  

III. Integrity and Transparency

  • Any funds or resources collected on behalf of the Trust must be handed over to the Treasurer or Secretary immediately for official recording.  
  • Volunteers are prohibited from using the JWALA Foundation name for private purposes or personal gain.  
  1. Professionalism and Advocacy
  • Volunteers involved in women’s empowerment must uphold the Trust’s values of sharing stories of strength and advocating for gender-equal representation.  
  • All Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials used by volunteers must be those officially issued or authorized by the Trust.  
  1. Accountability
  • The Board of Trustees reserves the right to remove any individual whose actions are found to be derogatory to the interests of the Trust.  
  • All activities must be carried out within the geographical territory of India.
